Dixie State reduces student fees by 27%

Dixie State University is excited to welcome students back to campus for face-to-face learning experiences while taking measures to safeguard students and the entire University community from risks associated with COVID-19. While the institution and the Dixie State University Student Association are working creatively through the pandemic to provide the “active learning. active life.” experiences that are synonymous with a Dixie education, DSU recognizes that it is not feasible to make certain services and opportunities available to students amid the COVID-19 pandemic. To offset this reduction in services, student fees for the 2020 Fall Semester are being reduced by 27 percent. For a full-time student, this equates to $113 for the semester, and students who have already paid the full fee will receive a credit on their account.

In addition to services such as the Booth Wellness Center and Academic Performance & Tutoring Center, small student life events in which safe physical distancing can take place will still be available, ensuring students can successfully integrate into Trailblazer Nation. Dixie State’s faculty and staff are busy preparing for our students and look forward to welcoming them to campus on Aug. 24.
